Genshin Impact 4.6 update

Before we start let's go through why Genshin is one of the most successful open-world games on Android/iOS. Good reasons because it has good graphics, storylines, character designs and regular game and new character updates. Most of the content for Genshin Impact 4.6, a lot of which had already leaked, was confirmed and presented by HoYoverse during the version Livestream.

• New region, story arches, events, quests in Fontain and Sumeru and two new bosses.
• Fatui Harbingers Arlecchino is a new 5-star Pyro polearm character.

Genshin Impact 4.6 Release Date

The V4.6 livestream broadcasted by HoYoverse revealed the details about the upcoming events and when the next patch is arriving. It was confirmed by Developers, that Genshin Impact 4.6 will be released 24th of April. It also depends on the time zone, travelers may gain access to v4.6 on the 23rd of April at night. Genshin updates are frequently updated on a regular six-weekly. (Sometimes delays may occur)

What’s in the new update?

Story

Hoyo announced two new character quests. One of them is centred on Arlecchino and the house of the Hearth in Fontaine, the story will be around Lyney, Lynette, Fremirnet and a traveller helping them.

The other quest will be in Sumeru, Featuring Cyno and how he gets his powers. The exact storyline is a little fuzzy but we will get to know once we complete the story.

New Region “The Ruins of Remuria”

Travelers who have completed Act 3 of the archon quests will automatically unlock a teleport waypoint area, it will have some kind of musical mechanic for exploration and a cat will guide the area.

New weekly boss

The Knave aka Arlecchino will be the new boss with two face-of-combat phases. Travelers with AR40 can collect items before completing story quests.

New character and rerun banners

As we already know Arlecchino is debuting as a DPS unit. She will be infused with pyro like Hu-Tao. Arlecchino has an alternative sprint mechanic that allows travellers to explore more swiftly for a short time. She will debut in 1st Face with Lyney with their signature weapons. The 1st banner has two Pyro DPS units.

Phase 2 banner will be having reruns of Wanderer and Baizhu with their signature weapons respectively. The 4-star characters for each banner phase have not been announced but I can guess it will be supporting characters who can boost these character abilities.
